Paragon II offers the widest line of KVM switches, with 4 models that provide non-blocked access for up to 64 users at the same time that control over 10,000 servers. A full group of management features includes single, consolidated view of all Paragon-connected devices, logging and audit trails and a system-wide reset from a user station.

Multi-dimensional Expansion

With Paragon II, it's possible to stack units to gain up to 128 computer ports controlling up to 10,000 servers. This can be done by layering stacked units and adding memory cards. Developed from the Raritan's original Paragon, it has top-quality KVM switch technology that optimizes space utilization and significantly cuts equipment costs.

Paragon II also supports increase and development with stacking units. The stacking units provide space-saving, cost-effective data center management by providing the ability to switch with 90% less cable than cascading. Stacking units are compatible with Paragon II models UMT832M and UMT1664M.

The stacking units decrease the problem of multiple cables between tiers and reduce TCO (total cost of ownership) by over 30%, as well as save one-third of rack space and HVAC resources.

Remote Access

The optional UST-IP user station provides KVM-over-IP switch capability for anytime, anywhere control and access of Paragon II-connected servers. It combines the IP gateway functionality and User Station role of the UST1 into one tool. It also features a slim design and well-known Raritan Remote Client GUI that automatically downloads through the browser. It also gives remote users on/off/recycle capabilities for power-strip-connected devices. The UST-IP also authenticates users against the Paragon II database and supports 128-bit SSL encryption.

Centralized Control

The Paragon® II System Controller (P2-SC) allows access and control of multiple Paragon II systems from Raritan's CommandCenter® centralized management tool. CommandCenter Secure Gateway integrates the non-blocked access of Paragon II and analog KVM switches with the flexibility and competence of Raritan's Dominion® Series. These products include digital KVM-over-IP switches and remote office/branch office remote management appliances serial console servers. All can be used for complete centralized management of your datacenter.
