The DCS is a matrix based on fiber that is used to transmit applications and optimize Command & Control rooms.
The matrix allows exchanging of every relevant signal, including DVI (single & dual), RGB, keyboard, mouse, USB (1.0, 1.1, 2.0) and audio (including stereo) as well as RS232, FireWire and USB Human Interface Devices (HID). It also allows complete non-blocking. The matrix ranges from 8x8 to 144x144 and comes in 8 or 16 port increments of hotswap units. Simple browser connectivity tools are a main feature in the DCS fiber matrix. It has broadcast ability and straightforward administration through either network or serial. The connectivity of the fibers enables a high quality video signal because there is no compression and decompression. The connection also offers configuration flexibility up to 1,000 meters and supplies superior data security.
