Cable Cleats for Short Circuit Protection

Panduit’s extensive line of cable cleat solutions ensures cables remain contained in the event of a short circuit fault, minimizing disruption and damage to personnel and property. Panduit’s Cable Cleats are uniquely engineered for ease of installation in a range of applications and harsh environments, including industries such as Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Mining, and Shipbuilding.

Here is a 10-minute video in Hebrew explaining Panduit Cable Cleats:

Stainless Steel Trefoil Cable Cleat

The Stainless Steel Trefoil Cable Cleat offers protection against extreme environments and high short circuit current faults. It is made of 316L stainless steel, available in multiple sizes with cable range taking capability, and suitable for trefoil cable arrangements.

Selecting the right Cable Cleat has never been so easy using the Panduit Cleat kAlculator App

To assist design engineers in specifying the correct cleat and spacing, Panduit has developed their own app.

Available in iOS and Android, once downloaded, the user can input information such as cable layout, cable diameter and peak fault level.

Based upon the results of independent laboratory short circuit testing the Cleat kAlculator app will suggest a cleat type and recommend the correct cleat spacing. If there is more than one option to match the inquiry, the app will offer a choice and the user can assess the benefits of each option.

Results can also be saved on the device and emailed.
