The Vertiv™ Liebert® XDU 450 & Vertiv™ Liebert® XDU 1350 are new products that support the control of water and water/glycol for High Density data center liquid cooling applications. 

Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) are liquid to liquid units, providing effective separation of the facility circuit and the secondary circuit via a high efficiency HEX (heat exchanger) for direct to chip or Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHX) applications. 

The Vertiv Liebert XDU 450 and Vertiv Liebert XDU 1350 are row-based units that can be deployed within the same row with IT Equipment or be placed as perimeter units.

Regardless of where and how you implement the Vertiv Liebert XDU, it provides efficient coolant distribution to manage power-dense hot spots, supporting capacities of up to 450 kW or 1,368 kW.

The Vertiv Liebert XDUs effectively oversees the complete liquid loop through its innovative, contaminant-free design, guaranteeing the highest water quality.

This design also ensures the essential separation of the primary facility water from the heat load of the IT equipment.

The use of stainless steel in the unit eliminates concerns about corrosion.

Additionally, a built-in 50-micron filtration unit operates continuously to keep the secondary fluid network clear of debris and contaminants that could potentially impede performance.
